Glass

Glass is a mixture of digital installation and ongoing performance, involving projections, spoken word, experimental music and physical theatre.
From a script, an English dialogue between three identities struggling to understand the reason for their meeting, the performers created an improvised piece from the pre-recorded text.

It traces the unclear profile of our digital identity, shuttered between several expressive codes in the sight of many other subjects. Three characters meet, they are committed in understanding the reason of their meeting.
They are detached from their visible gestures and they interact only trough a linguistic code which, as dreams’ texture, proceeds with irregular steps, between game, self-deception and revelation. In their words elements from the contemporary collective imaginary float and connect trough polemic and mimetic interactions.
The audience has the task to collect the traces, create the characters, and according to this creation also give to the characters the only identity their condition allows them to obtain.
